Flot Mailer/Collateral

This collateral mailer was designed for Flöt spa in order to pursue new frequent clients as well as implore current clients to invite friends or family. It is a tri-fold mailer that is sealed by a circle adhesive sticker. It was important to me while designing this piece to inform possible clients of some of the services offered by Flöt. Three of the pages in the mailer are dedicated to different services offered and are accompanied by icons, that represent the service highlighted on that page, prices and special offers, benefits and different options for specific services. in order to maintain the aesthetic of the brand I used the rocks from the bottom of the letterhead running along the baseline of the outside of the mailer. On the inside is a photograph of still water in a Flöt pod, used to further push the feeling of a peaceful submergence. Coupons are offered on the middle page of the inside of the mailer and are removable, attached initially by small adhesive tabs.

Flot Advertisements

These advertisements were meant to highlight the pod used when Flöting. It is a fairly large tub of water heated to body temperature and filled with 10 pounds of epsom salt. The images particularly aim to represent the pods in a very inviting and mesmerizing light, color palette and composition. Different simple phrases are used to represent the multiple sides of Flöt. The overall mood of the advertisements is meant to be soft, beautiful and mysterious. Flöt is a clearly intimate and calming environment as soon as you step through the front door; this feeling was also meant to be shown through these advertisement.

Flot Stationery Set

The main focus of this stationery set was to further push the brand and identity initially set by the logo. It is meant to feel open and inviting while still submerging you in a sense of relief, increased health and ultimate calmness. The business card was specifically meant to do this by making use of extensive open negative space and still being intriguing through an uncommonly used business card medium; transparent blue plastic with white type and designs.  The letterhead is also meant to be a very open design with nothing on the front side other than the logo and a bottom line of hot rocks pulled from the logo. These rocks are meant to both ground the entire design as well continue the aesthetic of the brand through use of repeated imagery and consistent color palette. The backside of the letterhead is meant to be a subtle reminder of some of the ideals and goals primary to the mission statement of the spa. It is also meant to carry the aesthetic of the brand through repeated use of the custom font designed specifically for the logo. It is used to push the idea that whenever you see this style of type you will immediately think Flot spa. The type pattern on the back of the letterhead is also found on the inside of the envelope in order to keep a consistent representation of the brand and it's identity.

Flot Logo Redesign

Logo redesign for Flöt, a healing spa in midtown Atlanta. Typeface designed by myself and makes use of round corners and soft angles to represent a feeling of peace, calmness and serenity. This mood is further pushed by the use of a subtle gradient of soft blue hues. The blue gradient also aims to invoke feelings of being submerged in water that is simultaneously healing the body, mind and spirit. The four healing stones stacked represent the 4 main services Flöt offers: reiki, skin healing, flöting and massage.
